Our Story

Focal has been creating benchmark acoustic equipment since 1979 for various high-fidelity markets such as home audio loudspeakers, headphones, car speaker drivers and monitoring loudspeakers. Focal’s historic core values are based on the union of technology, mechanics, noble materials and design. Constantly pushing the limits of sound to offer a truly unique listening experience.

 

Focal’s range of speakers are all designed and developed in France, their range starts at the very affordable Chorus series, providing a value-offering to entry level purchase with true French design and performance. The Aria, Kanta, Sopra and Utopia series top out the range with two channel systems, offering their dimension and dome series as smaller soundbar and multi-channel solutions as well as a full range of subwoofer and custom installation products.

 

Founded in 1973, Naim Audio founder Julian Vereker MBE (1945-2000) was a racing car driver, entrepreneur and self-taught engineer with a deep passion for music. Originally winning a contract to supply Capital Radio in 1972, the original design was an early version of the first Naim Power Amplifier.

 

Every Naim product is conceived, designed and engineered entirely in service of the sound, revealing a pure experience of music that is as close as possible to its original live source. The range of Naim products start with their all-in-one multi-room speakers, the Mu-so and Mu-so Qb, progressing to their Uniti line, a taste of high-end sound with everything needed in a single box. The SI, XS, Classic, 500 Series and finally Statement ranges, finish off the range as a true premium performance piece of audio design, engineering and sound. Naim marked its 45 years anniversary milestone last year.
